Resolution

Czech Rectors Conference (CRC) Plenum adopted at its 171st Meeting the following resolution:

1. CRC issued the „CRC Statement on the Planned Budget Cuts in Higher Education“ on 5 June 2023 and considers it as a starting point for further negotiations with the Government of the Czech Republic.
2. CRC demands such legislative changes to be made that will enable to fulfill the purpose of an institutional support for a long-term conceptual development of a research organization (DKRVO) for public Higher Education Institutions. The aim of the change should be to ensure the inter-annual transferability of the funds, at least for the defined period of the contracted allocation (e.g. 5 years).
3. CRC elected a new CRC Presidium in a secret ballot, whose term of office begins on 1 August 2023 and ends on 31 July 2025:
