Czech Rectors Conference (CRC) Plenum adopted at its 171st Meeting the following resolution:
- CRC issued the „CRC Statement on the Planned Budget Cuts in Higher Education“ on 5 June 2023 and considers it as a starting point for further negotiations with the Government of the Czech Republic.
- CRC demands such legislative changes to be made that will enable to fulfill the purpose of an institutional support for a long-term conceptual development of a research organization (DKRVO) for public Higher Education Institutions. The aim of the change should be to ensure the inter-annual transferability of the funds, at least for the defined period of the contracted allocation (e.g. 5 years).
- CRC elected a new CRC Presidium in a secret ballot, whose term of office begins on 1 August 2023 and ends on 31 July 2025:
