Establishment of the Association of Research Universities of the Czech Republic. Prague, 2 July 2019.

Five research universities of the Czech Republic – Charles University, Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Technical University in Prague, Masaryk University and University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague – have decided to establish the Association of Research Universities of the Czech Republic. The agreement was signed by four out of five rectors on 2 July 2019 in Prague at Charles University. Through this association, universities intend to compete together with the world's best universities for international research and education.
