Resolution

The Czech Rectors Conference Presidium asks the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports management, not to allow possible tying, i.e. the reduction, of 2012 funds under the Chapter 333 of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the amount of CZK 2.5 billion, could lead to a further decrease of higher education institutions expenditure share. The higher education institutions expenditure share within the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports budget has decreased since 2010 almost by two percentage points, from 19.7% to 17.8%. The Czech Rectors Conference Presidium considers any further reduction of this share in 2012 absolutely unacceptable because it would lead to a paralysis of public higher education institutions activities, including the admission of new students.
