  1. CRC appeals to the Government of the Czech Republic to increase significantly the budget for research, development and innovation in 2015 and especially in the following years, and thus enhance competitiveness of the Czech Republic in order to make possible implementing the sustainability of European projects as well as the functioning of established research capacities.
  2. CRC positively evaluates the current progress in preparation of the amendment to the Higher Education Institutions Act.
  3. CRC is ready to participate in amendment as well as subsequent subject intent of the Research Organizations Act.
  4. CRC observes some improvements in communication between investigators and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in the matter of European projects and believes that it would not be effective to implement the new operational programme outside the scope of this ministry.
  5. CRC welcomes the efforts of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports to increase the budget of Higher Education chapter, which is absolutely necessary for the ongoing process of improving the quality of higher education in the Czech Republic.
