119th Czech Rectors Conference Plenum Meeting (CRC Annual Assembly)

The Plenum of the Czech Rectors Conference (CRC) adopted at its 119th Meeting, CRC Annual Assembly, following resolution:
- CRC on the occasion of the 20th CRC Establishment Anniversary states that in the next period wants to be active representative of the higher education institutions community promoting independence, academic autonomy, liberty and quality of higher education institutions in the Czech Republic.
- CRC appreciates the assessment of the European University Association President Professor Maria Helena Nazaré who emphasized really important position of the CRC within the European University Association and in policy making of further development of higher education institutions in Europe.
- CRC positively assesses the preparation of the amendment to the Higher Education Institutions Act and expresses its conviction that, in line with the statements of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, paragraphed version will include CRC comments oriented to the further higher education institutions development in the area of autonomy, self-management, quality and their financing.
- CRC discussed the draft of a new Methodology of evaluation of research organizations results 2013-2015, CRC supports the presented principles and recommends specific creative results of some disciplines besides patents to be worked in the Methodology and all higher education institutions to be included in evaluation.
- CRC draws attention to particular problems in implementation conditions of projects supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and asks the CRC Presidium to communicate adequately with the Minister of Industry and Trade in this matter in order to improve the situation.
