Resolution

The Plenum of the Czech Rectors Conference (CRC) adopted at its 116th Meeting, following resolution:

1. CRC appreciates the Minister Fiala promise not to decrease the budget of higher education institutions in 2013 significantly. Budgetary outlooks for 2014 and following years remain however critical.
2. CRC establishes in the framework of its Statutes the working group which will be devoted to the complex matters of resources from European funds.
3. CRC appeals on the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic to continue in the dialogue concerning the preparation of the "law on the organization of entry and residence of foreigners in the Czech Republic, free movement of EU citizens and their relatives, and protection of state borders" because its upcoming form will influence higher education institutions operation and performance significantly.
4. CRC considers unacceptable research, development and innovation funding from the state budget not to reflect achieved results significantly.
